The Malawi International Trade Fair
The Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) is MCCCI’s flagship event, a multi-sectoral trade exhibition which provides linkage platform for domestic and international exhibitors to connect with potential customers, policy makers and partners in trade and investment. The fair also provides a platform for Business to Business (B2B) meetings, workshops and seminars as well as networking opportunities. An ideal platform for businesses to interact and establish new business deals with local, regional and international partners. Launched in 1987, the event is held annually, usually in the month of May.
The National Agriculture Fair
The National Agriculture Fair (NAF) is a sector- specific exhibition, whose purpose is to promote growth and development in the Agricultural value chain. The fair provides a platform for different stakeholders in the agricultural sector to share experiences and expertise on agricultural activities in order to promote linkages generated within the value chain. The fair is also meant to expose farmers/farmer groups to new developments in technologies, markets, technical and financial arrangements, among other services. Launched in 2003, the fair is held annually, usually in the month of August.
Regional Farmers Market Events
SME Mini fairs which are held in the Southern, Central and Northers Regions, with a specific purpose of promoting SME businesses. SMEs interact with potential clients, partners, financiers and business support organisations. An ideal platform to interact with SMEs. Launched in 2019 and held annually in different months within the year.
