The confederation conducts a surveys to gauge the business environment, scout opportunities, and issues affecting its member firms and the business community as a whole. Data collected through the surveys is acquired and analyzed to identify opportunities for growth, gaps, and expansion the client base. Through various engagements and platforms, the confederation assists members in resolving challenges identified through research with relevant stakeholders through lobbying, advocacy, and advising. The findings and recommendations derived from such research projects serve as input in the design of policies and targeted business regulations. We are also engaged in the collection and circulation of data relating to trade, economics, and industry to aid decision-making for the private sector. The Malawi Business Climate Survey is MCCCI’s flagship survey conducted annually to measure the business climate in Malawi. It gauges the degree of conduciveness of the business climate in Malawi which is important in guiding business planning and decision making.
