Building on over 35 years of experience organizing flagship trade events such as the Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) and the National Agriculture Fair (NAF), MCCCI aims to expand its platform to cater for the fast-evolving innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair will provide a vital platform for innovators to showcase their solutions, network with key stakeholders, and access markets and financing, thereby  driving economic growth and development in Malawi

The Fair aims at connecting SMEs to markets, business support organisations and partners. The fair is a comeback after a successful launch of a maiden Zomba SME Fair and Farmers’ Market in October 2024. Success stories registered from the event included business linkages that culminated in supply of products and services post event; business development as well as networking. This is economic boosting event, held  in  Zomba, the city that presents itself with potential wealth from the agricultural base, the hospitality industry, as well as the academia.
